I don't want to bother the folks at Waves either. Seems to wash their hands of it all and make it Windows Problem. But still, the suggestions he gave me still won't help. I've had assistance so far from the good folks at KARMA software. Waves Soundgrid Impact combo: Impact server, WSG card installs in the Behringer X32, Netgear Switch In other words, I'm playing the keyboard through the system. The following is what is connected right now and works together, but only with the Kronos as an audio device. I have to get the system all working together hear. But Windows seems to and so does Waves Soundgrid SuperRack, from what it looks like. Not the Karma Kronos program, nor Kronos editor, Korg editor, Reaper or anything else seems to recognize it as being in any port. But none of my other programs recognize the kronos as being in any port. Not just as an audio device, but as a midi device. But this makes me think, that the Kronos is recognized by Soundgrid. In the midi "Controller" area, apparently I can add the Kronos "in", and the "out" would be sound.
To be more confusing, which I'm not trying to add to the complications, Waves Soundgrid SuperRack is a main program that I want to use with the Kronos. It seems to have existence on ports higher than 10, but they work. So it should be fine, right? Also I use Waves Soundgrid. The "Korg uninstall tool" reflects, that the Kronos is in "midi 1".
#MICROKORG SOUND EDITOR NO MIDI DEVICE FOUND DRIVERS#
All the Windows drivers are apparently in check and up to date as well. I have uninstalled, reinstalled the latest drivers from Korg for my Kronos.
